@steellafferty Progression

Progression! That’s what I feel is the essence of action sports. Creating history and leaving your mark! This video is in order of tricks that I landed first and some tricks I felt were notable and meant something to me! A lot of people ask me why I don’t do as many contest anymore. My answer is this video… I believe that focusing more on progressing my riding and creating new tricks pushes the sport of wakeboarding as well. Don’t get me wrong. I believe contests have an important role in wakeboarding and I will always support them. For me, I just pick the ones I want to compete in and really try to go win instead of riding in a contest every weekend and getting worn out. 2017 was the first year I really focused more on progressing my riding and it was my best year yet. 2018 will be even better! A lot of big things happening!! It’s fun taking a look back and seeing what I’ve accomplished but I’m still far from my goal and have a lot more to look forward to in the future! Above all else I want to glorify God and be the best I can be on this earth to give him glory!! Huge thanks to all my sponsors that have stuck with me @mcboatcompany @redbull @ethika @onewake_ and there might be a few more joining that list soon !!
