To do an ollie off the lip also known as a re-entry, drift in (not edge in) toward the wake. Just when you’re about to reach the tip, pop the ollie straight upwards and land on the downside of the same wake. It sometimes helps to pull the handle towards the outside of the wake so you land on the downside, rather then over the wake.

Once you are comfortable ollieing off the wake, you can progress to attempting shuv-its off the lip as well.
